Licensed US Coast Guard Captain
Wilderness EMT-Paramedic, NREMT-P
Wilderness Medicine Instructor

Chris Davis holds a B.A. from Duke University and has served as a firefighter paramedic in some of the most active districts in the United States. Although his urban experience is extensive, the majority of his experience and expertise is in wilderness and maritime medicine, working as a medic with outdoor programs in some of the more remote reaches of the globe. Chris is an active member of the Wilderness Medical Society and it is safe to say that if a text or journal has been written about wilderness medicine, Chris has read it. As a result, even if you haven’t taken one of his wilderness medicine classes, you have learned about the topic by merely being in his presence. He is one of the great assets to our team and a leader in our organization.
