Chris Davis holds a B.A. from Duke University and has served as a firefighter paramedic in some of the most active districts in the United States. Although his urban experience is extensive, the majority of his experience and expertise is in wilderness and maritime medicine, working as a medic with outdoor programs in some of the more remote reaches of the globe. Chris is an active member of the Wilderness Medical Society and a Fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine.  Chris is currently pursuing a medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, but still finds time for his passions for teaching wilderness medicine and guiding othes in the backcountry.
