Practicing medicine in the wilderness environment presents unique challenges which require a special mindset, a unique skillset and a specialized toolset. Adventure Medical Consultants is proud to offer comprehensive wilderness and maritime medical support for expeditions, charters, group trips, backcountry events and other outdoor pursuits. Our medical providers have years of training and experience practicing in austere environments and have the knowledge and capability to provide care when access to hospitals or traditional EMS systems is not an option.

Our Wilderness EMTs and Paramedics are currently practicing professionals who maintain certifications in Advanced Wilderness Life Support, Advanced Medical Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Prehospital Trauma Life Support, International Trauma Life Support and Pediatric Education for the Prehospital Provider.  Our medics have served in some of the most remote regions of the United States and Carribean, with areas of operation including the Pacific Northwest, New Mexico, Maine, Colorado, the Appalachian Mountains, the British Virgin Islands and the Bahamas.
